TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (Interstat) — A surging Alabama team will look to extend its winning streak when it hosts struggling South Carolina in a Southeastern Conference men’s basketball matchup on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, at Coleman Coliseum. The Crimson Tide (17-7) have won three straight, including an impressive 93-74 road victory at Mississippi on Wednesday. They are led by guard Amari Allen, who is coming off a 13-point, 6-assist performance against the Rebels. Over his last five games, Allen is averaging 11.8 points and 5.0 assists, providing steady playmaking for one of the league’s top offenses. Alabama’s high-powered attack will face a South Carolina squad mired in a five-game losing streak. The Gamecocks (11-13) are coming off a 78-59 home loss to Missouri on Feb. 7, their most recent outing. Guard Eli Ellis, the team’s player to watch, scored 11 points with six rebounds in that contest. Ellis has shown scoring flashes during the skid, including a 14-point effort against LSU, but South Carolina has struggled defensively, allowing an average of 89.2 points over its last five losses. The teams are on divergent paths in conference play. Alabama’s recent run includes a critical 96-92 win at rival Auburn. South Carolina, meanwhile, has not won since Jan. 20, a stretch featuring several lopsided defeats, including a 95-48 loss to Florida. Historically, Alabama has dominated the series, but the Gamecocks will aim to leverage the scoring of Ellis and backcourt mate Mike Sharavjamts to spring a road upset. For the Crimson Tide, maintaining their offensive rhythm behind Allen, Latrell Wrightsell and Labaron Philon will be key as they seek to solidify their postseason resume. The game tips off at 5 p.m. CST and will be broadcast on the SEC Network. Alabama visits LSU next on Feb. 21, while South Carolina travels to Florida on Feb. 17.
