DAVIS, Calif. (Interstat) — The UC Davis Aggies look to rebound from a tough offensive performance and solidify their standing in the Big West Conference when they host the struggling Long Beach State 49ers on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026. The Aggies (15-10 overall) enter the matchup at The Pavilion at ARC coming off a 68-51 loss at UC San Diego on Thursday, a game in which they shot just 32% from the field. Prior to that, UC Davis had won three of its last four, including an 85-75 victory over UC Santa Barbara. Long Beach State (8-17) seeks to end a six-game losing streak. The 49ers fell 86-82 to Cal State Fullerton on Thursday despite 22 points from guard Petar Majstorovic. Majstorovic has been a bright spot during the skid, averaging over 19 points per game in his last seven contests. UC Davis guard Marcus Wilson, who scored 24 points in a win over Cal Poly last week, will be a key focus for the Aggies’ offense. He was held to 13 points on 5-of-14 shooting in the loss to UC San Diego. The teams’ seasons have diverged sharply in conference play. UC Davis has shown the ability to protect its home court, while Long Beach State has lost nine of its last 10 games overall. The 49ers’ last road win was on Jan. 17 at Cal State Northridge. This is the first of two regular-season meetings between the schools. They will meet again in Long Beach on March 5. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. PST. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
