FAIRLAWN, Va. (Interstat) — Radford and Charleston Southern will meet for the second time in three weeks Saturday in a Big South Conference men’s basketball matchup at the D.N. Dedmon Center. The Highlanders (13-13, 5-6 Big South) will look to complete a regular-season sweep after earning an 84-75 road victory over the Buccaneers on Jan. 29. Radford has lost three straight since that win, including a 77-86 defeat at High Point last Saturday. Dennis Parker scored 24 points in that loss and has averaged 19.3 points over his last four games. Charleston Southern (11-14, 4-7) arrives on a five-game skid, though its most recent loss was a narrow 94-100 overtime contest at South Carolina Upstate. Jesse Hafemeister exploded for a career-high 32 points and seven rebounds in that game, highlighting a recent surge for the Buccaneers’ standout. Over his last five outings, Hafemeister is averaging 18.4 points. Both teams have struggled in close games this season. The Buccaneers are 1-4 in overtime games in conference play, while the Highlanders have dropped three Big South contests by three points or fewer. The game will tip off at 4:30 p.m. EST on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026. Following this contest, Radford hosts Gardner-Webb on Feb. 19, while Charleston Southern returns home to face Gardner-Webb on Feb. 17.
