Vermont Aims for Season Sweep Against Visiting Bryant BURLINGTON, Vt. (Interstat) — The Vermont Catamounts look to solidify their standing in the America East Conference when they host the Bryant Bulldogs on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, at Roy L. Patrick Gymnasium. Vermont (16-10 overall) enters the matchup having won three of its last four, including a 73-65 road victory at Binghamton on Thursday. The Catamounts previously defeated Bryant 62-52 in Smithfield, Rhode Island, on Jan. 24. Bryant (8-17) seeks to halt a two-game skid after a 69-88 loss at Massachusetts-Lowell on Thursday. The Bulldogs have struggled on the road this season, while Vermont boasts a 9-3 record at home. A key matchup will feature two of the conference’s top performers. Vermont is led by versatile forward Gus Yalden, who is coming off an 18-point, 5-assist effort against Binghamton. In the Jan. 24 win over Bryant, Yalden posted 14 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Bryant will rely on the hot hand of guard Keegan Harvey, who is averaging 21.4 points over his last five games. Harvey erupted for 28 points and 3 blocks in the loss to UMass Lowell and scored 28 in a narrow loss to Binghamton on Jan. 29. He was held to 10 points on 4-of-12 shooting in the first meeting with Vermont. The Catamounts have used balanced scoring and stout defense to build their winning record. Alongside Yalden, guards Sean Blake and TJ Hurley have provided consistent production. Vermont has held opponents to 66.2 points per game in conference play. Bryant, which averages 68.5 points per game, will need secondary scoring beyond Harvey to challenge Vermont’s defense. Khalil Williams, who had 10 points and 6 assists against UMass Lowell, is a primary facilitator. With the America East tournament approaching, Vermont aims to secure a favorable seed, while Bryant looks to play spoiler and build momentum for the final stretch of the season. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. EST.
