Vermont (16-10 overall) enters the matchup having won three of its last four, including a 73-65 road victory at Binghamton on Thursday. The Catamounts previously defeated Bryant 62-52 in Smithfield, Rhode Island, on Jan. 24. Bryant (8-17) seeks to halt a two-game skid after a 69-88 loss at Massachusetts-Lowell on Thursday. The Bulldogs have struggled on the road this season, while Vermont boasts a 9-3 record at home. A key matchup will feature two of the conference’s top performers. Vermont is led by versatile forward Gus Yalden, who is coming off an 18-point, 5-assist effort against Binghamton. In the Jan. 24 win over Bryant, Yalden posted 14 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Bryant will rely on the hot hand of guard Keegan Harvey, who is averaging 21.4 points over his last five games. Harvey erupted for 28 points and 3 blocks in the loss to UMass Lowell and scored 28 in a narrow loss to Binghamton on Jan. 29.
