AUBURN, Ala. (Interstat) — The Auburn Tigers will look to snap a three-game skid and avenge a recent blowout loss when they visit the Arkansas Razorbacks in a Southeastern Conference men’s basketball matchup on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, at Bud Walton Arena. The Tigers (14-10, 5-6 SEC) travel to Fayetteville after consecutive home losses to Alabama and Vanderbilt. Their last victory came in a 95-73 rout of these same Razorbacks on Jan. 10 at Neville Arena. Replicating that performance on the road presents a significant challenge against an Arkansas squad (18-6, 8-3) riding high after a dominant 91-62 win at LSU. The game features a compelling duel at guard between Auburn’s Tahaad Pettiford and Arkansas’s Darius Acuff Jr. Pettiford has been a bright spot during Auburn’s slump, averaging 21.3 points over his last three games, including a 25-point, 7-assist effort in the narrow loss to Alabama. Acuff is playing at an All-SEC level, coming off a 28-point game against LSU and averaging 24.3 points over his last six contests. Arkansas has won five of its last six, with the only blemish a home loss to Kentucky. Their high-powered offense, which has scored 88 or more points in four of those wins, will test an Auburn defense that has allowed an average of 85.3 points during its losing streak. For Auburn, reversing the result from last month requires containing Acuff and finding secondary scoring behind Pettiford. KeShawn Murphy and Kevin Overton provided support in the Vanderbilt loss, combining for 22 points. Arkansas will aim to control the tempo on its home floor, where it is 11-2 this season, and leverage its superior record and momentum in the conference standings. Saturday’s contest is the first of a tough closing stretch for both teams. Auburn visits Mississippi State next Wednesday, while Arkansas travels to face Alabama. The Tigers won the first meeting this season by 22 points, but the Razorbacks, now ranked and playing at home, are favored to split the season series. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. CST. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.
