The Dukes counter with high-scoring guard Cliff Davis, who logged 40 minutes and scored 26 points in the overtime win against Georgia State. Davis has been a consistent offensive threat, scoring 18 or more points in five of his last eight outings. His backcourt duel with Jennings will be a key storyline. In the Jan. 15 meeting, Appalachian State’s defense forced 14 James Madison turnovers and held the Dukes to 38.7% shooting from the field.
