Preview: Saint Peter’s Peacocks at Sacred Heart Pioneers FAIRFIELD, Conn. (Interstat) — A surging Saint Peter’s team looks to continue its climb in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference standings when it visits a struggling Sacred Heart squad on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, at the William Pitt Center. The Peacocks (14-8) enter having won three of their last four, including a 70-65 home victory over Siena last Saturday. Guard Bryce Eaton has been instrumental, averaging 17.2 points over his last seven games. He scored 22 points in the win over Siena and had 21 points and six assists in a road win at Manhattan on Feb. 5. Sacred Heart (10-16) has lost three straight, most recently an 80-68 defeat at Manhattan. Despite the team’s struggles, forward Anquan Hill has been a consistent bright spot. He is coming off a dominant 30-point, 10-rebound double-double in that loss and has scored 18 or more points in five of his last seven outings. The matchup features a contrast in recent form. Saint Peter’s has found a rhythm in conference play, while the Pioneers have been unable to sustain momentum, particularly on defense, allowing an average of 82.3 points during their current skid. For the Peacocks, supporting cast members like Lucas Scroggins and Brent Bland, who combined for 20 points and 14 rebounds against Siena, will look to complement Eaton’s scoring. Sacred Heart will need more production beyond Hill; Yann Farell (15 points vs. Manhattan) and Jaden Slaughter (13 points) provided help last game but the Pioneers require consistent secondary scoring. This is the first scheduled meeting between the programs this season. The game tips off at 7 p.m. EST in Fairfield. Saint Peter’s visits Iona next Friday, while Sacred Heart hosts Rider on Sunday.
