Preview: Dayton Flyers at VCU Rams RICHMOND, Va. (Interstat) — A pivotal Atlantic 10 Conference clash is set for Friday afternoon when the VCU Rams host the Dayton Flyers at Siegel Center. The Rams (17-6) enter with momentum, having won six of their last seven games. Their most recent result was a 63-59 road victory at Fordham on Tuesday, powered by 17 points from forward Lazar Djokovic. VCU has been strong at home this season, boasting a notable 89-75 win over Loyola Chicago on Jan. 30 as part of their current form. Dayton (15-7) seeks consistency after a streaky stretch, going 3-4 in its last seven outings. The Flyers are coming off a narrow 72-70 home win over Saint Bonaventure on Tuesday, where guard Javon Bennett scored 20 points. However, that victory snapped a four-game losing skid that included road losses at Saint Louis, Saint Joseph’s and La Salle. The matchup features two of the conference’s standout performers.
