(Interstat) — The surging Marist Red Foxes will look to solidify their standing in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference when they visit the struggling Canisius Golden Griffins on Friday, Jan. 30, 2026. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. at the Koessler Athletic Center. Marist (13-7, 7-3 MAAC) enters on a high note after a 71-64 home victory over Quinnipiac last Saturday. The Red Foxes have won four of their last five conference games, showcasing a balanced attack. A key contributor off the bench has been sophomore forward Jason Schofield, who is averaging 10.4 points on 58% shooting over his last eight games. He posted 12 points, four rebounds and three assists in 16 minutes against Quinnipiac. Canisius (8-13, 3-7), meanwhile, seeks to halt a five-game skid. The Golden Griffins fell 61-55 at Fairfield last Saturday, their ninth loss in the last 11 outings. Senior guard Mike Evbagharu has been a consistent presence, logging heavy minutes and averaging 9.8 points and 3.4 assists per game during the losing streak.
