Preview: Wake Forest at Pittsburgh in ACC Menās Basketball PITTSBURGH (Interstat) ā Two teams looking to stabilize their Atlantic Coast Conference seasons will meet Tuesday when the Wake Forest Demon Deacons visit the Pittsburgh Panthers. The game is scheduled for 9 p.m. EST at Petersen Events Center. Wake Forest (11-9, 2-5 ACC) enters on a two-game skid, including a 90-69 loss at then-Duke on Saturday. The Demon Deacons have lost five of their last seven contests. Pittsburgh (8-12, 1-6) has dropped six of its last seven, most recently an 81-72 home loss to North Carolina State. The Panthersā lone ACC win came at Georgia Tech on Jan. 14. The matchup features two of the conferenceās top individual performers in recent weeks. Wake Forest will lean on guard Juke Harris, who is averaging 22.1 points over his last seven games. He scored 23 in the loss at Duke and has topped 27 points three times in that stretch. For the Panthers, forward Roman Siulepa is coming off a 15-point, 13-rebound double-double against the Wolfpack. He has averaged 11.9 points and 7.3 rebounds in his last seven outings. Wake Forestās offense, averaging 76.2 points per game, will test a Pittsburgh defense allowing 74.6 points per contest. The Demon Deacons have been prone to turnovers, committing 14 per game in ACC play. Pittsburgh has struggled offensively in conference games, shooting just 41.8% from the field. The Panthers will need to find scoring beyond Siulepa and guard Damarco Minor, who averages a team-leading 13.9 points. The Demon Deacons won both meetings last season. Following this game, Wake Forest hosts North Carolina State on Saturday. Pittsburgh begins a two-game road trip at Clemson on Saturday.
