Over his last seven games, the dynamic guard has averaged 14.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.7 assists, including a 21-point, 12-assist effort at Miami and a 17-point, 12-rebound game against Boston College. Virginia Tech holds a clear advantage in the standings and will rely on its home court, where it is 9-2 this season. Georgia Tech is just 2-5 in true road games. The Hokies won last season’s lone meeting, 91-67, in Atlanta. The game is a critical opportunity for Virginia Tech to stabilize its conference positioning before hosting Duke on Saturday.
