Toledo (10-8) arrives after a narrow 87-84 road loss at Kent State on Friday, a game in which the Rockets’ trio of Austin Parks (16 points), Leroy Blyden (19 points) and Sonny Wilson (15 points, six assists) combined for 50 points. For Massachusetts, Leonardo Bettiol has emerged as a high-volume scorer. The forward is averaging 21.3 points over his last four contests, highlighted by a 32-point, 14-rebound performance in an overtime loss to Bowling Green on Jan. 3 and a 25-point outing at Northern Illinois. The Minutemen hold a slight edge in overall record and are 7-3 at home this season. Toledo is 3-5 in true road games. Both teams rank among the MAC’s higher-scoring offenses, setting the stage for a potentially fast-paced contest. Tuesday’s game is the only scheduled meeting between the programs this regular season. Following this contest, Toledo returns home to host Bowling Green on Saturday, while Massachusetts hits the road to face Miami (Ohio) next Tuesday.
