Guard Nick Anderson leads the team, coming off a 17-point, five-rebound performance against Memphis. He has scored 17 points in two of his last three games. The matchup pits Wichita State’s offense, which has scored 84 or more points in three of its last five outings, against a Rice defense that has allowed an average of 82.3 points during its current losing streak. The Shockers have been strong at home this season, boasting a 6-1 record at Charles Koch Arena. Rice will need to contain Giles and find scoring beyond Anderson to challenge the Shockers.
