RICHMOND, Va. (Interstat) — A marquee Atlantic 10 men’s basketball showdown is set for Wednesday afternoon at the Siegel Center as the surging Saint Louis Billikens, owners of the nation’s attention, visit the VCU Rams. Saint Louis (13-1, 1-0 A-10) arrives with one of the most potent offenses in the country, averaging 94.6 points per game during a current nine-game winning streak. Their lone loss came by a single point to Stanford in late November. The Billikens are led by sophomore sensation Robbie Avila, a dynamic guard who orchestrates the attack.
