The Broncos showed resilience in the marathon contest, led by guard Javan Buchanan’s season-high 29 points and six assists. Buchanan’s performance highlighted his explosive potential, though he has been inconsistent, scoring four and two points in his two previous games. The Broncos have defended their home court well, posting a 6-1 record at Taco Bell Arena this season. Their only home loss came against then-North Carolina State in November. This nonconference matchup features teams with similar profiles, both seeking momentum as their conference schedules intensify.
