Conversely, Alabama State (3-5) seeks to steady itself after a narrow 93-87 road loss at New Mexico on Nov. 26. The Hornets have faced a challenging early schedule, with four of their five losses coming on the road against opponents from major conferences. The game features a compelling backcourt versus frontcourt showdown. Alabama State will rely heavily on dynamic guard Asjon Anderson, who is averaging 22.1 points per game in his last seven contests.
