Preview: Dartmouth at Wyoming Men’s Basketball LARAMIE, Wyo. (Interstat) — The Wyoming Cowboys look to rebound from a narrow road loss when they host the Dartmouth Big Green in a nonconference men’s basketball game Saturday at Arena-Auditorium. Wyoming (6-2) enters the contest after a 76-72 defeat at Texas Tech on Nov. 30. Guard Leland Walker led the Cowboys with 28 points in that game. The Cowboys have been strong at home, winning by an average of 30 points in four games in Bosler this season. Dartmouth (3-3) arrives after a 69-68 home win over New Hampshire on Wednesday. Kareem Thomas scored 18 points and Brandon Mitchell-Day added 15 points and three blocks for the Big Green, who have alternated wins and losses through their first six games. The Big Green’s three victories have come against lower-division Maine-Augusta and teams with a combined 2-12 record. Their losses include an 85-77 defeat to Appalachian State. Wyoming’s schedule has featured more formidable competition. Its two losses came against Texas Tech and Sam Houston, both by single digits. After Saturday, Dartmouth visits Colorado State on Tuesday. Wyoming remains home to host South Dakota on Tuesday.
