TULSA, Okla. (Interstat) — The Montana State Bobcats will look to build on a resurgent offense when they visit the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles in a nonconference men’s basketball matchup Saturday at Mabee Center. Montana State (4-5) is coming off an 82-74 home victory over Saint Thomas (Minn.) on Wednesday. Patrick McMahon led the way with 24 points and five assists, while Jed Miller added 18 points. The Bobcats have scored at least 78 points in four of their last five games. Oral Roberts (3-7) seeks to halt a three-game skid after a 92-66 road loss to Weber State on Wednesday. Ty Harper scored 18 points in that defeat. The Golden Eagles have allowed 90 or more points in three of their last four contests. The Bobcats’ attack, averaging 81.2 points over its last five, will test an Oral Roberts defense allowing 84.6 points per game this season. Montana State has played a challenging road schedule, with four of its five losses coming away from home. Following this game, Montana State continues its road swing at Oregon State on Dec. 13. Oral Roberts hosts Ecclesia on the same date.
