The Mountaineers have relied on balanced scoring and stout defense, holding opponents to an average of 58.6 points in their six wins. Coppin State (2-7) seeks to halt a two-game skid after falling 95-84 at Loyola Maryland on Sunday. Guard Hassan Perkins led the Eagles with 19 points and five assists in the loss.
