SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Interstat) β The Wofford Terriers look to continue a strong start when they host the Presbyterian Blue Hose in a nonconference menβs basketball game Wednesday at Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium. Wofford (5-3) enters on a high note after a road win, 83-77 at Eastern Kentucky on Saturday. Kahmare Holmes led the way with 30 points and eight rebounds. The Terriers have won four of their last five. Presbyterian (5-5) evened its record with a dominant 69-41 home victory over The Citadel on Sunday. Carl Parrish scored 21 points in the win, and Josh Pickett added 15. The Blue Hose have shown resilience, bouncing back from a three-game skid against high-major opponents UCLA, California and Sacramento State earlier in November. Their season includes a road win at Georgia State. This matchup begins a key stretch for both teams before league play begins next month. Wofford holds a slight edge in record and will have home-court advantage in its first meeting with Presbyterian since 2017.
