KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Interstat) β The Idaho State Bengals, riding the momentum of a blowout win, visit the struggling Missouri-Kansas City Kangaroos in a nonconference menβs basketball game Wednesday afternoon at Municipal Auditorium. Idaho State (4-4) arrives after a dominant 82-50 road victory over Cal State Northridge last Friday. Gus Etchison scored 14 points and Jamison Guerra added 10 in the win. The Bengals have split their last four games. UMKC (1-6) seeks to halt a five-game skid, most recently a 82-61 loss at Weber State on Saturday. Jayson Petty and Jerome Palm each scored 13 points for the Kangaroos, whose lone win came against Evangel on Nov. 3. The Kangaroos have struggled defensively, allowing an average of 85.1 points during their losing streak. Idaho State averages 71.9 points per game. This is the first meeting between the programs since 2017.
