TOWSON, Md. (Interstat) — Two teams with identical records seeking momentum will meet Wednesday when the Cornell Big Red visit the Towson Tigers in nonconference men’s basketball. The game, set for SECU Arena, features a pair of 5-3 squads coming off different rhythms. Cornell will play its second game in as many nights after falling 99-81 at George Mason on Tuesday. Adam Hinton led the Big Red with 19 points in that loss, with Jake Fiegen adding 18. Towson has not played since a 87-73 loss at UC San Diego on Nov. 26. In that game, Tyler Tejada scored 27 points for the Tigers and Dylan Williamson added 20. Cornell’s offense has shown high-scoring potential, surpassing 100 points three times this season, but is 0-3 on the road. Towson is 3-0 at home, winning those games by an average of 17.7 points. According to National Statistical’s ELO system, Towson has a 66.2% probability to win. The Tigers are favored by 5.5 points in pregame betting, with an over/under of 151.5.
