The Bison (5-3) fell 85-80 at Arkansas State last Friday despite 28 points from guard Damari Wheeler-Thomas. Montana (4-4) seeks to defend its home court after a 95-87 loss to Oakland on Nov. 25, a game in which guard Money Williams dished 15 assists. North Dakota State has shown a potent offense, scoring 90 or more points in three wins this season, but is 0-3 on the road. Montana is 3-1 at home, with the lone loss coming in its last outing. The Grizzlies’ schedule has included challenging road tests at Stanford and Texas A&M. Wednesday’s matchup features two teams seeking momentum before conference play begins next month.
