DETROIT (Interstat) — Two Horizon League men’s basketball teams seeking momentum will meet Wednesday when the IU Indy Jaguars visit the Detroit Titans at Calihan Hall. Both teams enter with struggling overall records. IU Indy is 3-6 after an 85-80 home win over Morehead State on Saturday. Detroit is 2-6 following a 70-66 road victory at Niagara the same day. The Jaguars’ backcourt powered the recent win. Micah Davis scored 24 points and Kyler D’Augustino added 25. Finley Woodward dished out nine assists. Detroit countered with a balanced effort against Niagara, led by London Maiden’s 16 points and eight rebounds and Orlando Lovejoy’s 12 points and five rebounds. The matchup begins a critical stretch of conference play for both programs. IU Indy’s next game is at home against Youngstown State on Saturday. Detroit travels to face Cleveland State that same day. Wednesday’s game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. EST tipoff.
