(Interstat) — The undefeated LSU Tigers will put their perfect record on the line Wednesday night against a Boston College Eagles team seeking consistency in a nonconference men’s basketball clash at Silvio O. Conte Forum. LSU (7-0) has dominated its early schedule, winning each game by double digits. The Tigers are coming off a 96-63 rout of DePaul on Saturday where Jalen Reece (13 points, 6 assists), Pablo Tamba (14 points) and Dedan Thomas (12 points, 5 assists) led a balanced attack. Boston College (4-4) has alternated wins and losses over its past six games. The Eagles defeated Harvard 73-60 last Wednesday behind 17 points from Fred Payne and a well-rounded effort from Donald Hand (9 points, 7 rebounds). The game represents a final major nonconference test for Boston College before Atlantic Coast Conference play begins next month.
