HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Interstat) — The Tennessee State Tigers will look to extend a three-game winning streak when they visit the Alabama A&M Bulldogs in a nonconference men’s basketball matchup on Wednesday, Dec. 3. Tennessee State (5-3) arrives with momentum after a 70-64 road victory at Chattanooga on Sunday. Travis Harper and Aaron Nkrumah each scored 17 points in the win, with Dante Harris adding 15. The Tigers’ current streak includes tight wins over UNC Asheville and an offensive outburst against Tenn. Wesleyan. Alabama A&M (3-3) seeks consistency after a 67-60 loss at Coastal Carolina on Sunday. Kintavious Dozier led the Bulldogs with 18 points in that contest, while Koron Davis added 14 points and five rebounds. The Bulldogs have split their last four games, with home wins over Lindenwood and Charleston Southern. The game will be played at T.M. Elmore Gymnasium. It marks the final nonconference tune-up for Alabama A&M before a stretch of five consecutive home games. Tennessee State continues a road-heavy early schedule before opening Ohio Valley Conference play in January. Following this contest, Alabama A&M will visit Lipscomb on Dec. 7. Tennessee State’s next game is at UNLV on Dec. 13.
