TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (Interstat) — A surging Clemson team visits Coleman Coliseum on Wednesday to face an Alabama squad coming off its most explosive offensive performance of the young season. The Clemson Tigers (7-1) have won five straight, including an overtime road victory at Georgia and a 92-56 rout of Alabama A&M last Friday. Carter Welling (12 points) and Jestin Porter (14 points) led a balanced effort in that win. The Alabama Crimson Tide (5-2) rebounded from a loss to Gonzaga with a dominant 105-72 victory over Maryland last Wednesday. Guards Aden Holloway (17 points, 10 assists) and Labaron Philon (20 points, 6 assists) powered the offensive outburst, which followed a 115-point game against UNLV. Clemson’s only loss came on the road against Georgetown. Alabama’s two defeats are against then-Purdue and the Bulldogs. The matchup features two of the nation’s higher-scoring offenses early in the 2025-26 season. Wednesday’s contest is the final tune-up for Alabama before a high-profile neutral-site game against Arizona, while Clemson faces a quick turnaround before a matchup with BYU in New York. Tip-off is set for 9 p.m. EST on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
