PITTSBURGH (Interstat) — A surging William & Mary team will look to extend its winning streak when it visits Duquesne in a non-conference men’s basketball matchup Tuesday night at the A.J. Palumbo Center. The Tribe (7-2) have won four straight, including a dominant 88-75 victory over Old Dominion on Sunday. Kilian Brockhoff led the way with 21 points, while Tunde Vahlberg Fasasi added a game-high 25 points. Their only losses this season came on the road against Saint John’s and Richmond. The Dukes (5-2) are also coming off a decisive win, having defeated Central State 101-80 last Wednesday. Jimmie Williams scored 20 points in just 15 minutes off the bench in that contest. Duquesne’s two losses were a narrow overtime win for Queens (N.C.) and a defeat against Northeastern. This game pits William & Mary’s high-scoring offense against a Duquesne squad that has shown its own firepower at home. The contest serves as a final tune-up for both teams before their next games on Dec. 6, when William & Mary travels to George Washington and Duquesne hosts Stony Brook.
