CLEVELAND (Interstat) — The New York Knicks visit the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday, May 25, 2026, for Game 4 of their playoff series at Rocket Arena. New York leads the best-of-seven series 2-1 after a 60-54 defensive grind Saturday that featured the lowest scoring output of the postseason for either team. The Knicks (64-32) have been the more consistent club throughout the series, winning the first two games at home before holding Cleveland to 54 points in Game 3. New York’s defense has smothered the Cavaliers, who shot just 35% from the field in the most recent meeting. Center Karl-Anthony Towns continued his strong run with 18 points and 13 rebounds in that victory, his fifth consecutive playoff double-double. Over his last eight games, Towns is averaging 15.1 points and 10.4 rebounds while shooting 52% from the floor. Cleveland (60-38) faces elimination with a loss. Guard Donovan Mitchell has been the Cavaliers’ primary offensive engine, scoring 26 points in Game 3 despite the team’s struggles. Mitchell has averaged 25.7 points over his last 10 playoff games, though his supporting cast has been inconsistent. Forward Evan Mobley added 14 points and six rebounds in Game 3, while guard James Harden contributed 18 points and six assists. The Cavaliers haven’t shot better than 43% in any game this series. The Knicks also received strong contributions from guards Josh Hart (26 points, seven assists in Game 3) and Jalen Brunson (19 points, 14 assists). New York has won eight of its last 10 postseason games overall, including sweeps of Atlanta and Philadelphia in earlier rounds. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 117-108 victory for Cleveland, which would force a Game 5. The series is scheduled to continue with Game 5 in New York on Wednesday, May 27, followed by a potential Game 6 in Cleveland on May 29.
