The Spurs (41-17) enter on a nine-game winning streak, their latest a 114-103 victory at Detroit on Monday. San Antonio has been dominant, winning those nine games by an average margin of 16.2 points. Their last loss was a 111-106 defeat at Charlotte on Jan. 31. The Raptors (34-23) have won five of their last six, including a commanding 122-94 road win over Milwaukee on Sunday. Toronto has found its rhythm after a mid-January slump, bolstering its position in the Eastern Conference playoff picture. The matchup features a compelling duel between San Antonio’s generational big man and Toronto’s dynamic guard. Spurs forward Victor Wembanyama has been a force during the win streak, averaging 22.4 points, 12.4 rebounds and 3.6 blocks over the last 10 games. He is coming off a 21-point, 17-rebound, six-block performance against the Pistons. Raptors guard Immanuel Quickley is coming off a season-high 32 points and nine assists against Milwaukee. He has averaged 18.1 points and 5.6 assists over his last 10 contests, providing crucial scoring and playmaking for Toronto. In the teams’ only previous meeting this season, the Spurs routed the Raptors 121-103 in San Antonio on Oct. 27.
