Preview: Cavaliers at Bucks, Wednesday, February 25, 2026 MILWAUKEE (Interstat) ā The Cleveland Cavaliers, riding a strong stretch of their schedule, visit the struggling Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night at Fiserv Forum in a Central Division matchup. The Cavaliers (36-22) enter as heavy favorites, installed at -8.5, despite coming off a 121-113 road loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday. Prior to that, Cleveland had won six straight games, a run that included impressive victories over Denver, Sacramento and the Los Angeles Clippers. They have won eight of their last 10. Milwaukee (24-31) looks to halt a slide after a dispiriting 122-94 home loss to Toronto on Sunday. The Bucks have lost three of their last five and sit seven games below .500 as they try to stabilize their season. A key matchup will feature veteran guard James Harden for Cleveland against Milwaukeeās Kevin Porter. Harden has been a catalyst for the Cavaliersā success, averaging 18.9 points and 8.7 assists over his last seven games while frequently flirting with triple-doubles. In Sundayās loss, he posted 20 points, nine assists and five rebounds. Porter has been a bright spot for the Bucks, recording a triple-double (18 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists) in a win over Orlando on Feb. 11 and averaging 20.7 points and 8.3 assists over his last seven contests. He had 21 points and 10 assists in the loss to Toronto. The season series has favored Cleveland, which won both prior meetings in October and November 2025. The Cavaliers prevailed 118-113 on Oct. 26 and 118-106 on Nov. 17, both games in Cleveland. Beyond the guard battle, Clevelandā Donovan Mitchell and Jarrett Allen, who had 20 points and 11 rebounds respectively against Oklahoma City, provide consistent secondary scoring and interior presence. Milwaukee will counter with guard Ryan Rollins and center Myles Turner, who combined for 35 points in their last outing. The total over/under is set at 227.5 points. Clevelandās offense has been potent, scoring 118 or more points in eight of its last 10 games. Milwaukeeās defense, which allowed 122 points to Toronto, will be tested. Following this game, Cleveland continues a road trip at Detroit on Friday. Milwaukee remains home to host the New York Knicks on Friday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. CST.
