Preview: Wizards at Cavaliers, Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026 CLEVELAND (Interstat) — The Cleveland Cavaliers, riding a surge of offensive firepower, will host the struggling Washington Wizards on Wednesday night at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The Cavaliers (32-21) have won seven of their last eight games, averaging 124.6 points during that stretch. Their most recent outing was a 132-126 road victory over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday, led by a combined 64 points from Donovan Mitchell and Jarrett Allen. Allen, the center to watch for Cleveland, is coming off a dominant stretch. He averaged 17.0 points and 9.1 rebounds over his last 10 games, including a 40-point, 17-rebound performance in a win over Portland on Feb. 1. His interior presence will be a primary challenge for Washington. The Wizards (14-38) have lost three straight and eight of their last 10. They are allowing a league-worst 124.1 points per game. In their most recent game, a 132-101 loss to Miami on Sunday, they were outscored by 42 points in the second half. Rookie center Alex Sarr remains a bright spot for Washington. He is averaging 17.7 points and 9.0 rebounds over his last 10 contests and posted a 12-point, 12-rebound double-double against the Heat. His development is a key storyline for the league’s youngest team. Cleveland has dominated the recent series, winning both meetings this season by an average of 19 points. The Cavaliers won 130-126 in Washington on Dec. 12 and 148-114 on Nov. 7. The Cavaliers, currently fifth in the Eastern Conference, will look to consolidate their playoff positioning before embarking on a four-game road trip next week. The Wizards, with the conference’s worst record, continue a difficult five-game road swing seeking any positive momentum. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST.
