The Spurs (36-17) enter with the NBA’s fourth-best record and have won seven of their last 10 games. They are coming off a 138-125 home victory over Dallas on Saturday, a game in which Castle erupted for a triple-double: 40 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists. The second-year guard is averaging 18.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 8.2 assists over his last 10 contests, powering one of the league’s most efficient offenses. Golden State (29-25) sits in ninth place in the conference and is 5-5 in its last 10. The Warriors narrowly escaped with a 114-113 home win over Memphis on Monday, fueled by 39-year-old center Al Horford’s 16 points, nine rebounds and six assists. Horford has provided steady veteran play, averaging 10.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.8 assists over the same 10-game span. The season series currently favors the Warriors, who edged the Spurs in two tight November meetings: 125-120 and 109-108. San Antonio will look to avenge those losses and continue a strong February where they are 3-0. San Antonio’s high-powered attack, which also features Victor Wembanyama and Devin Vassell, will test a Golden State defense that has been inconsistent. The Warriors have allowed 113 or more points in four of their last five games. The Spurs are 5.5-point road favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, with the over/under set at 216.5.
