Preview: Bucks at Magic, Monday, Feb. 9, 2026 ORLANDO, Fla. (Interstat) — The Orlando Magic, holding a firm position in the Eastern Conference playoff picture, will look to capitalize on their home court when they host the struggling Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night at Kia Center. The Magic (27-24) enter on a two-game winning streak following a 120-117 victory over Utah on Saturday. Forward Paolo Banchero continues to be the engine for Orlando, averaging 22.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists over his last 10 games. His all-around play, including a 23-point, 7-rebound, 8-assist performance against the Jazz, will be central to Orlando’s game plan. Milwaukee (21-29) snapped a five-game skid with a 105-99 win over Indiana on Friday. The Bucks’ recent success has coincided with strong play from guard Kevin Porter. Over his last three appearances, Porter is averaging 20.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 8.0 assists, providing a critical spark for an offense that has shown flashes of high output, including a 141-point effort against New Orleans. Despite their recent win, the Bucks have lost eight of their last 12 games and face a challenging road test. Center Jericho Sims is coming off a 15-rebound, 4-assist performance and will be tasked with helping Milwaukee control the paint against a physical Orlando frontcourt. The Magic have been inconsistent but strong at home, where they’ve won three of their last four. Beyond Banchero, consistent contributions from guards Jalen Suggs and Anthony Black, who combined for 33 points and 10 assists against Utah, will be key. This matchup is the first of a two-game set between the teams in Orlando, with a rematch scheduled for Wednesday. Milwaukee will aim to build momentum before a difficult upcoming road stretch, while Orlando seeks to solidify its record before embarking on a lengthy West Coast trip later this month. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST.
