Preview: Clippers Look to Bounce Back Against Struggling Kings SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Interstat) — The Los Angeles Clippers will look to regain their footing after a recent loss when they visit the struggling Sacramento Kings on Friday night at Golden 1 Center. The Clippers (23-26) are coming off a 128-113 home defeat to the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday, which snapped a seven-game winning streak. Prior to that, they had been one of the league’s hottest teams, winning 10 of their previous 11 contests. Forward Kawhi Leonard has been the catalyst for Los Angeles, averaging 26.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists over his last 10 games. He scored 29 points in the loss to Philadelphia. Guards Jordan Miller and Kobe Sanders added 21 and 17 points, respectively, in that game and will be relied upon for supplementary scoring. Sacramento (12-39) has lost five of its last six games, including a 116-112 defeat at Washington on Sunday. The Kings’ defense has been a persistent issue, allowing an average of 117.8 points during that six-game stretch. Guard Zach LaVine is the Kings’ primary offensive threat, coming off a 35-point, six-rebound performance against the Wizards. He has averaged 19.5 points over his last 10 outings. Veteran guard DeMar DeRozan, who had 32 points and five assists on Sunday, provides a secondary scoring punch. The teams last met on Dec. 30, 2025, a 131-90 Clippers rout in Los Angeles. Leonard scored 24 points in that victory. Following this game, the Clippers continue a road trip Sunday in Minnesota. The Kings host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. PST.
