Preview: Struggling Nets Face Clippers in Sunday Showdown INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Interstat) — The Brooklyn Nets, mired in one of the NBA’s worst records, seek to halt a four-game slide when they visit the Los Angeles Clippers at Intuit Dome on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026. The Nets (12-30) are reeling from a historically poor offensive performance in a 120-66 road loss to the New York Knicks on Wednesday. Brooklyn’s season has been defined by inconsistency, with only three wins in their last 15 games. Forward Michael Porter has been a lone bright spot, averaging 24.2 points and 7.3 rebounds over his last 10 contests. He scored 18 points in the Nets’ 121-105 home loss to these same Clippers on Jan. 9. The Clippers (20-24) have been uneven but enter with momentum after a 112-104 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday. Center Ivica Zubac dominated that game with 18 points and 19 rebounds, part of a recent surge where he has recorded a double-double in eight of his last 10 outings. Los Angeles has won four of its last six games. This matchup pits Brooklyn’s offensive struggles—they rank last in the league in scoring—against a Clippers defense that has shown vulnerability, allowing an average of 115.3 points per game. Containing Porter will be a key focus for Los Angeles, while the Nets must find an answer for Zubac’s interior presence and the Clippers’ veteran trio of Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and James Harden. The Clippers won the season’s first meeting handily two weeks ago, leading by as many as 29 points. Brooklyn has not won a road game since Jan. 4 in Denver. Following this game, the Nets begin a three-game road trip in Phoenix on Tuesday. The Clippers will embark on a five-game trip starting Tuesday in Utah.
