Preview: Kings Face Cavaliers in Cleveland CLEVELAND (Interstat) — The struggling Sacramento Kings look to snap a two-game skid when they visit the Cleveland Cavaliers at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Friday night. The Kings (12-32) are coming off a 130-117 home loss to Miami on Tuesday. Veteran guard DeMar DeRozan continues to be a bright spot, averaging 20.5 points and 5.0 assists over his last 10 games. He scored 23 points with five assists against the Heat, supported by 22 points from Russell Westbrook and 18 from Zach LaVine. Sacramento showed signs of life with a three-game winning streak earlier this month but has lost five of its last seven. The Cavaliers (24-20), positioned in the Eastern Conference playoff picture, aim to rebound from a 136-104 blowout loss to Oklahoma City on Monday. Second-year guard Jaylon Tyson, coming off a 16-point, 10-rebound double-double in that defeat, has provided explosive moments, including a 39-point outburst in a win over Philadelphia on Jan. 16. Cleveland’s frontcourt of Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley, who combined for 32 points and 16 rebounds against the Thunder, will present a significant challenge for Sacramento’s interior defense. The Cavaliers have been strong at home this season, while the Kings have struggled on the road. This matchup begins a challenging five-game road trip for Sacramento. These teams will meet again in Sacramento on Feb. 7. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EST.
