Preview: Hawks at Warriors, Sunday, January 11, 2026 SAN FRANCISCO (Interstat) — The Atlanta Hawks, riding a wave of momentum from a decisive win, will face a surging Golden State Warriors team led by a red-hot Stephen Curry when the teams meet at Chase Center on Sunday. The Hawks (18-21) arrive after snapping a two-game skid with a 117-100 victory over New Orleans on Wednesday. Rookie forward Zaccharie Risacher powered the win with a season-high 25 points and eight rebounds, highlighting his growing impact. Atlanta’s recent form has been inconsistent, however, with five losses in its last seven games. Golden State (20-18) has found a rhythm, winning seven of its last 10 contests. The catalyst remains the ageless Stephen Curry, who is averaging 28.7 points over his last 10 games. He is coming off a 31-point, seven-rebound, seven-assist performance in a 120-113 victory over Milwaukee on Wednesday. The Warriors’ offense, ranked near the top of the league, will test an Atlanta defense that has struggled at times. The matchup between Risacher, the 2025 overall pick showing flashes of stardom, and Curry, the future Hall of Famer, will be a central storyline. Risacher has scored in double figures in eight of his last 10 outings. Atlanta will also need another strong performance from guard Dyson Daniels, who nearly posted a triple-double (13 points, eight rebounds, eight assists) against the Pelicans. For the Warriors, consistency beyond Curry will be key. Veteran forward Jimmy Butler (21 points vs. Milwaukee) and guard De’Anthony Melton (22 points) provided crucial support in their last outing. Golden State has been strong at home this season and will look to exploit an Atlanta team that is 7-12 on the road. This game marks the only regular-season meeting between the teams this year. Following this contest, Atlanta begins a two-game road trip in Los Angeles against the Lakers on Tuesday. Golden State opens a brief homestand against Portland on Tuesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. PST.
