Preview: Suns Look to Bounce Back Against Grizzlies MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Interstat) — The Phoenix Suns aim to rebound from a narrow road loss when they visit the struggling Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night at FedExForum. Phoenix (21-15) enters having won seven of its last 10 games but is coming off a 100-97 defeat in Houston on Monday. The Suns hold a clear advantage in the standings over the Grizzlies (15-20), who have lost four straight and six of their last seven. All-Star guard Devin Booker remains the focal point for Phoenix. He is averaging 26.5 points and 5.5 assists over his last 10 games, including a 33-point performance in just 28 minutes during a blowout win over Sacramento on Jan. 2. Booker scored 27 in the loss to Houston. Memphis will counter with forward Cedric Coward, who has provided energetic minutes off the bench. Coward is averaging 13.7 points and 8.1 rebounds over his last 10 contests. He posted 16 points and nine rebounds in just 13 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. The teams met once already this season, with Memphis stealing a 114-113 victory in Phoenix on Oct. 29. The Suns’ recent success has been fueled by offensive efficiency, scoring at least 115 points in eight of their last 10 games. Memphis, meanwhile, has struggled defensively during its skid, allowing an average of 124.3 points over its last three games. Phoenix continues a five-game road trip after this contest, with stops in Miami and Detroit up next. Memphis opens a brief two-game homestand before heading to Orlando on Thursday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. CST.
