MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Interstat) — The Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Clippers will meet for the second time in eight days when they face off at FedExForum on Friday night. The Grizzlies (9-13) won the first matchup 112-107 in Los Angeles on Nov. 28. They enter having lost three of their last four, including a 126-119 defeat at San Antonio on Tuesday. Rookie center Zach Edey had 19 points and 15 rebounds in that loss, while guard Cam Spencer added 21 points. The Clippers (6-16) are coming off one of their best performances of the season, a 115-92 road victory over Atlanta on Wednesday. Ivica Zubac posted 17 rebounds and James Harden neared a double-double with 27 points and nine assists in the win. Despite that result, Los Angeles has lost eight of its last 10 games. Friday’s contest opens a four-game road trip for the Clippers. The Grizzlies will look to improve on their 6-5 home record. The teams will complete a three-game season series in Los Angeles on Dec. 15.
