WASHINGTON (Interstat) — The Boston Celtics visit the Washington Wizards on Thursday night in a matchup of teams heading in opposite directions. The Celtics (11-9) arrive having won three of their last four games, including a 117-115 road victory over Cleveland on Sunday. Guard Payton Pritchard led the way with 42 points, while Jaylen Brown posted a triple-double with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists. Boston dominated the previous meeting this season, routing Washington 136-107 on Nov. 5. The Wizards (3-16) are coming off one of their best performances, a 129-126 home upset over Milwaukee on Monday. Marvin Bagley III scored 22 points and C.J. McCollum added 28 points and five assists in the win. Despite the victory, Washington has lost 13 of its last 15 games. The game at Capital One Arena tips off a challenging stretch for the Celtics, who host the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday. The Wizards host the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday.
