MILWAUKEE (Interstat) — The surging Detroit Pistons, owners of the NBA’s best record, visit the struggling Milwaukee Bucks in a Central Division matchup Wednesday night at Fiserv Forum. Detroit (17-4) arrives having won eight of its last nine games, including a 129-116 victory in Milwaukee just 11 days ago. The Pistons are coming off a narrow 99-98 home win over Atlanta on Monday, powered by Cade Cunningham’s 18 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, alongside Jalen Duren’s 21 points and 11 rebounds. Conversely, the Bucks (9-13) have lost seven of their last 10. They fell 129-126 at Washington on Monday despite 30 points from Kevin Porter Jr. and 26 from Giannis Antetokounmpo. Milwaukee’s defense, allowing 117.8 points per game, will be tested by a potent Pistons offense averaging over 122 points. The teams will meet again in Detroit on Saturday, concluding a home-and-home set. Milwaukee hosts Philadelphia on Friday, while Detroit welcomes Portland.
