The Cavaliers (13-9) enter on a positive note, having defeated the Indiana Pacers 135-119 on Monday. Donovan Mitchell led the charge with 43 points, nine rebounds and six assists. Cleveland has won three of its last five. Portland (8-13) arrives on the second night of a back-to-back after a narrow 121-118 loss at Toronto on Tuesday. Deni Avdija recorded 25 points, eight rebounds and 14 assists in the defeat. The Trail Blazers have lost six of their last eight games. National Statistical’s ELO system gives Cleveland a 79.7% probability to win. The Cavaliers are installed as 9.5-point favorites, with an over/under set at 236.5 points. Following this game, Cleveland begins a two-game homestand Friday against San Antonio. Portland continues a four-game trip Friday in Detroit.
