SAN ANTONIO (Interstat) — The San Antonio Spurs, riding high with one of the NBA’s best records, will host the struggling Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday at Frost Bank Center. The Spurs (13-5) enter the contest after a thrilling 139-136 road victory over the Denver Nuggets on Friday. Devin Vassell led the way with 35 points, while Julian Champagnie added 25 points and 10 rebounds. Memphis (8-12) arrives in San Antonio coming off a 112-107 win over the Los Angeles Clippers, also on Friday. Center Zach Edey dominated the glass with 21 rebounds in the victory. The teams met just two weeks ago in San Antonio, with the Spurs securing a 111-101 win on Nov. 18. The Grizzlies have shown recent signs of life, however, winning three of their last four games after a difficult start to the season. The Spurs have been consistently strong, winning eight of their last 10 contests. Tuesday’s game is the second of a three-game homestand for San Antonio, while Memphis continues a lengthy road trip.
