The 76ers (10-9) are coming off a 142-134 home defeat to Atlanta on Sunday, despite a 44-point, nine-assist effort from Tyrese Maxey. Philadelphia has lost three of its last four. Washington (3-16) arrives with momentum from a surprising 129-126 victory over Milwaukee on Monday. Marvin Bagley III scored 22 points and C.J. McCollum added 28 for the Wizards, who snapped a three-game skid. The teams met earlier this season, with Philadelphia winning 139-134 in Washington on Oct. 28. According to National Statistical’s ELO system, the 76ers have an 84.3% probability to win. Philadelphia is a 13.5-point favorite, with an over/under of 237.5 points. The game is the first of a back-to-back for the Wizards, who host Boston on Thursday. Philadelphia hosts Golden State on Thursday.
