Preview: Cubs at Brewers MILWAUKEE (Interstat) — The Chicago Cubs visit the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday at 6:10 p.m. at American Family Field, with the Cubs aiming to build on a three-game winning streak and the Brewers seeking to maintain their hold on the National League Central lead. Forecast: 65 degrees, cloudy. Chicago (43-37) sends left-hander Kyle Harrison (8-1, 3.12 ERA) to the mound. Harrison has been a steady force for the Cubs, who have won 10 of their past 12 games. The Cubs are coming off a 4-3, 10-inning win Thursday at the New York Mets, in which left-hander Matthew Boyd delivered 4 2/3 scoreless innings of relief with four strikeouts. Boyd is a player to watch after that performance. Milwaukee (49-29) leads the division by six games over the Cubs. Right-hander Shane Drohan, a player to watch, has been effective out of the bullpen recently, including 4 1/3 scoreless innings with five strikeouts Wednesday at Cincinnati. The Brewers have dominated the season series. Milwaukee swept a three-game set at Chicago in May, outscoring the Cubs 19-5. Friday’s series opener was scoreless in the early going after a rain delay. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 7-6 Cubs win. After Saturday, the teams conclude the series Sunday. The Cubs then host San Diego, while the Brewers host Cincinnati.
